PRIVACY POLICY
Our top priority is to maintain the
safety of all children who use this site to the level that we can control. All personal information shared
through this site will be protected. It will not be shared with anyone. Lists
will not be sold or traded.
We will never ask for a child's last
name or home address unless it relates to one of their submissions or because
they have won a contest that requires that a prize or product be shipped to the
individual's home. The information will then be used strictly to forward
the prizes and anything else that the child, parent or guardian orders from the
site on behalf of the child.
Never let
your child divulge any personal information online. Educate them in child online
safety.
We will never ask for and use a
child's photograph unless given written authorization by the child's parent or
guardian. Such photo will then only be used when announcing the winners and
along with the child's submitted work when it is displayed in the Niagara
Gallery Canada in Niagara Falls. For your child's safety, we suggest that only
first names be put on the front of artwork, since they will be displayed in a
public place.
It is not required that a
child submit this type of identifying information in order to participate in
this site's activities, win contests or
have their work displayed at the Gallery or on this site. Sending such information is purely
voluntary and must be authorized by the parent or guardian in writing.
The work submitted by children must
be approved by a parent or guardian for it to be included in subsequent editions
of Geny Heywood's books.
We will take whatever measures we can
to ensure your child's safety while using this site. However, we highly
recommend that parents and guardians remain attentive whenever their children
are communicating with us and anyone else to ensure they do not reveal
personally identifying information that can put them at risk.
